Jatinderdeep Kaur is working as an Associate Professor in School of Mathematics (SOM), Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala. She received her master degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2004 and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from School of Mathematics and Computer Applications (SMCA), Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala in 2010. She has joined SMCA, as Project fellow under UGC major Research project in 2004. She has been teaching postgraduate and undergraduate mathematics courses like Real Analysis I, Real Analysis-II, Lebesgue Measure Theory, Complex Analysis, Topology, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Complex Analysis, Laplace transforms, Linear differential equations, Successive differentiation and Fourier series at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala since 2006. Jatinderdeep Kaur was Principal investigator of UGC sponsored Major Research project (2013-2016), where she guided one research student. She has published 30 (15 SCI/SCIE+ 20 Scopus/ Non SCI) research papers in the area of fixed point theory and Lebesgue convergence of Fourier Series. Dr. Kaur has guided 4 PhD students and 12 Master’s students. Presently, one PhD student is working with her.
