Biography

Dr. Arun Maiti is currently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Mathematics. Prior to that he was a visiting research fellow at STCS, TIFR. He was a NBHM postdoctoral fellow at IISc, Bangalore between 2018-2020 and at IIT, Kharagpur between 2020-2021

Education

1. Ph.D. from Leipzig University, Leipzig in 2017, with specialization in algebraic topology
2. M.Sc. in mathematics from Chennai Mathematical Institute in 2010

Experience: Total Teaching Experience: 3 years

2014-2017: Tutor for Bachelors International Physics Study Programme (IPSP) at University of Leipzig, Germany

2018-2019: Instructor at IISc for postgraduate courses, Bangalore
